Produced by RYCO Theatricals as a part of their podcast series RYCO LIVE, our show SHARING THE SPOTLIGHT endeavors to move the spotlight from the stage or camera to those who make it happen behind the scenes. Every Friday at 8:00pm Eastern, our hosts, Ashley Baker and Joy Walsh, will interview a different designer or technician live on our social media @rycotheatricals.

Joy Walsh is a Barbadian-American New York native with a passion for visual story-telling. Joy got her start at Suffolk community college where an interest in television broadcast developed into a love for the art form of visual media. Since then, Joy has explored different mediums of this arts through short films, music videos and photography. Her style is vibrant and lively, uniformed much like her personality with a deep love for skin tones of all shades and colors.

Ashley Baker is a graduate student in her last year of the Costume Design MFA program at the University of Oregon. She earned her BFA in Costume Design and Technology from Central Washington University in 2016.
